She offers a series of brief video performances, between 1 and 2 minutes long, in which she dresses in elaborate animal costumes to paint a miniportrait of several organisms, describing key features of their physiology and behavior - in particular their reproductive biology.

I think you misread the Gonzo Scientist article, the one performing in those videos is actress Isabella Rossellini. By the way, congratulations on your blog, it's great!
