There is always a meta-process. So the human brain has more.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I know we humans like to label everything as &amp;quot;self vs other&amp;quot;, or in this case &amp;quot;conscious vs. not&amp;quot;, as a matter of utility (and survival), but isn&amp;#39;t it more realistic to ask &amp;quot;how conscious&amp;quot; rather than &amp;quot;is it conscious&amp;quot;?
