While I find this current research interesting it seems that it is generateing a disproportionate amount of attention. This especially true when compared to an article by Chong et al. (2008) which appeared in current biology last year and seems to show the exact opposite of the results found in the current study, i.e. adaptation for observation of recently executed actions but not for execution of recently observered actions. At the moment it seems that these studies tell us more about the unreliability of fMRI adaptation than it does about mirror neurons.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/22093933/4691360695713300687/comments/default/2339863427381436132'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/22093933/4691360695713300687/comments/default/2339863427381436132'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://mindblog.dericbownds.net/2009/06/no-evidence-for-mirror-neurons-in.html?showComment=1246386032308#c2339863427381436132' title=''/><author><name>Harry</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/16599230374084688208</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://mindblog.dericbownds.net/2009/06/no-evidence-for-mirror-neurons-in.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22093933.post-4691360695713300687' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/22093933/posts/default/4691360695713300687' type='text/html'/></entry></feed>
